  • 640 gr. butter
  • 640 gr. almonds roasted in the husk and coarsely chopped
  • rosewater Archontaki
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon of clove
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 125 gr. sugar
  • 800 gr. Flour Mills of Crete for all uses
  • 400 gr. powdered sugar Archontakis


Beat the butter, sugar and egg until fluffy. Then add the brandy, cinnamon, cloves, almonds and flour last. Bake at 180 degrees for 35 min. Let them cool, sprinkle them with rose water and then sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
